On this website, we provide detailed information for the project entitled „Building Trust in Roma and IDP Communities for NCD Prevention: Developing and Testing an Integrated Social Healthcare Development Methodology for Vulnerable Groups in Central and Eastern Europe.”
The aim of SHOWUP4HEALTH is to address the social and environmental health determinants contributing to the increased risk of Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) among vulnerable groups, primarily Roma communities, and secondarily Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs). Melanoma Day 2025: Hundreds Screened During Preventive Health Campaign in Uzhhorod
As part of the annual Melanoma Day initiative, the “InterFamily” Clinic organized a large-scale public health campaign in Uzhhorod aimed at raising awareness about skin cancer prevention and promoting the early detection of melanoma. The event was held with the support of the Uzhhorod City Council, La Roche-Posay, volunteer physicians, medical students, and interns. Six outdoor screening tents were set up across the city, providing free skin examinations to residents.
